My Dad, who died at 93 years old on 11/3/2015, is a decorated WWII hero. He flew 50+ missions as a B-24 bombardier, several airplane crashes, the Air Medal, the Distinguished Flying Cross, and numerous purple hearts. One of his aircraft, "The Strawberry Bitch" is in the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum.
